Bittercube Bitters are developed in Milwaukee, WI and created in Madison, WI utilizing spirits from Yahara Bay Distillers, where all aspects of production are completed. Bittercube literally creates the bitters by hand, peeling hundreds of pounds of citrus, weighing dozens of spices, and decorticating vanilla beans, among other time consuming tasks! Bittercube Bitters do not use any extracts or oils, but only “raw” ingredients. The process is different for each style of Bittercube Bitters, with batches going through various phases on their way to completion, taking anywhere from four to eight weeks depending on variety. Bittercube has grown from creating one gallon jars of bitters to now producing batches in large stainless steel maceration tanks, but the hand-crafting process has stayed the same.

Bittercube t-shirts are made with 100% preshrunk cotton and have a soft feel. Shirts are available in all sizes. The t-shirts are a dark gray with black screen printing.
Full-bodied, with cinnamon, molasses, clove, sassafras and sarsaparilla aroma and flavors. Blackstrap Bitters sit perfectly atop egg white cocktails and provide intense aroma and visual appeal.

Light and aromatic, with floral notes of chamomile and jasmine, plus cinnamon and dried fruits on the finish. An homage to an old recipe from a 19th century cocktail book, these are aromatic and extremely versatile.

Cherry Bark Vanilla
Aromatic and potent, with notes of cherry and Madagascar vanilla. The cherry aroma comes from wild cherry bark and from Syrian cherry pits. The bitters also have an interesting aroma of cocoa and bitter almonds.
Application: Manhattans, Highballs, Old Fashioneds, Sours
Robust Jamaican Spice overtones, with hints of ginger and black pepper. These are extremely spicy, somewhat like an Allspice Dram. Being the most spice forward bitters, “J1″ can be utilized beyond cocktails in baking, marinades, and in vinaigrettes.
Application: Rum, rum, rum. Hot cocktails and punches.
Bright and acidic, with grapefruit and hibiscus overtones, and underlying island spice notes. “J2″ are the perfect complement to a margarita and are a great tiki bitters as well.
Application: Rum cocktails – Daiquiri’s, Punches and Mojitos. Highballs, Old Fashioneds.
Citrus forward with aromas of bright orange, toasted coriander and cardamom. We double macerate the orange peels to make the orange flavor pop, and add a touch of burnt sugar at the end of the process to create a subtle caramelized orange flavor.
Application: Gimlets, Old Fashioneds, Mojitos, Beer, Highballs.
